Coherence

A true action arises from self-knowledge; wisdom arises out of action. - Rachel Pollack

We’ve had plenty of opportunity to sharpen our self-knowledge in the last year or so. As the world slowly recovers and heals from a global pandemic, perhaps we’ll notice how we've refined or clarified our priorities (or that we are working on it). When priorities are clear, decisions and actions are confident. Such coherence decreases anxiety, improves functioning, and fosters a sense of agency and contentment.

At SCG, the quality of our best work has always been encouraged by the coherence discovered between the values of the families we serve and our own sense of purpose. Each new relationship presents an opportunity, and, on our best days, a transformative alchemy is discovered. In this respect, our best product is perhaps less about placement and more about personal development and the value of a working partnership.
